Hand-N-Hand to Host Bowling Blast

Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. is sponsoring a non-competitive bowling event on Sunday, October 2 from 12 PM to 2 PM at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, 2929 Allied St. in Green Bay.
 
Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. invites you to their Bowling Blast fundraiser! This fun event includes bowling, music, prizes and raffles. Funds raised at this event will enable Hand-N-Hand to continue to provide unique educational programs to deaf and hard of hearing children in Northeastern Wisconsin. Programs include: Playgroups, Parent & Community Education, Parent Networking, Music & Sign Language Classes, Community Outreach & Outings, Scholarships, and a Lending Library.  Since 2002, Hand-N-Hand is the only nonprofit in Northeast Wisconsin that provides specialized programs to young children who are deaf and hard of hearing and their families.

Each bowler is asked to contribute at least $30 in pledges for the event. Teams as well as individual bowlers are welcome. Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin raised $28,000 during the 2015 Silent Night in Casablanca fundraising event!  

“With our fourth annual fundraising event under our belt we continue to be amazed by the people in our community and their willingness to strengthen our local organizations,” said Jenny Geiken, program director for Hand-N-Hand. “This fundraiser truly has an impact on the lives of those who are deaf or hard of hearing. We are grateful to our board of directors, committee members, sponsors and members of the community for supporting the effort and making a difference in the community in which we live and work. Thank you to everyone who joined us to support the cause.”
In addition to music, casino events, dinner, live and silent auctions, Hand-N-Hand presented its annual “Making a Difference Award” to Joy Snyder of Capital Credit Union. The award recognizes a person or group for their dedication and ongoing support to children with hearing loss. “Northeastern Wisconsin and Hand-N-Hand are extremely thankful for Joy’s unparalleled volunteerism and dedication, as well as the support of Capital Credit Union,” Geiken said.

Hand-N-Hand awarded $4,000 from the Green Bay Packers Foundation

(Green Bay, WI) Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin is proud to be a grant recipient from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.  The Green Bay Packers Foundation awarded $450,000 to 145 civic and charitable groups throughout the state of WI in its annual distribution of grants.  Both the total donation amount and the number of recipient organizations are records for the Foundation. 
 

Hand-N-Hand Casino Night fundraiser raises $16,000 to help support programs!

(Green Bay, WI) A $30-thousand dollar donation has been made to Hand-N-Hand (HNH) of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. by the Hetzel Family. Hand-N-Hand is a non-profit organization that provides support and facilitates resources for families with children experiencing hearing loss.
